What stays on your device

Everything the test knows about you is kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device only: your settings and theme, your personal bests and reaction averages, your session history for the Progress page, and the per-key profile behind adaptive practice. None of it is sent to us or anyone else. Clear it at any time with Clear records in Settings, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

What we never collect

We do not collect the text you type, your scores, your name or your email address. There are no accounts, no advertising trackers and no third-party cookies.

Anonymous analytics

To learn which pages are useful and how fast they load, the site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. They set no cookies. Each records the page visited, the referring site, country and region, browser, operating system and device type, and Speed Insights adds page-load timings. Visits are counted with a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, and the results are only ever seen as aggregate statistics that cannot identify you. Vercel describes this in detail in its Web Analytics and Speed Insights privacy notes.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages securely. See the Vercel privacy policy.
