Using TypeMe

TypeMe is a free typing test at typeme.site. You do not need an account to use it. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.

Your results

Speed, accuracy and reaction times are calculated in your browser as described on the about page. They are estimates for practice and personal tracking, not a certified assessment, and they depend on your device, keyboard and browser. A shared result link shows only the four values it carries and is not verified.

Your data

Settings and results are stored on your device, not on our servers. The privacy page explains what is stored, what the anonymous analytics record, and how to clear everything.

Fair use

Please do not try to disrupt the site, overload it with automated traffic, or get around its security. Do not present TypeMe results as an official or certified score.

Names, logo and content

The TypeMe name, logo, design and written content belong to TypeMe. You are welcome to share links to the site and screenshots of your own results.

No warranty

TypeMe is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, TypeMe is not liable for any loss arising from using the site, including lost results if your browser’s storage is cleared.

Changes

The site and these terms may change. When the terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them.
